Belgian elections

Some cookies, tea and coffee was what they offered at the embassy. It took me probably about 10 minutes to get in, vote for the federal elections in Belgium, have a drink and leave again.
I voted for the Belgian Liberals (comprising both market and left of center liberals, modern followers of John Locke), a party which, according to the polls, is doomed to lose these elections. I hope they don't. And I also hope that they can form a coalition again with the Socialist party. I don't really care who becomes our next prime minister, Guy V. from the liberals or Johan V. of the socialists. I believe both men are capable and experienced to do the job.
Tomorrow the rest of my country will vote and I will most likely be following updates, exit polls etc via the internet. I wonder if the elections will even make the BBC news...

Blauw bloed blijft blauw bloed !!

I indeed would have guessed you'd vote liberal, so I was surprised a few posts abo to see you ended up near Spirit with your thoughs... Guess that Kiescompas didn't change your mind then?

Let's hope Yves L. also is capable and experienced enough to do the job ;)
