Confirmation

Of course, I suspected this already for years, but now independent scientists confirm it. You can read it all at the site of the quality newspaper De Morgen. But I will happily translate part of it for my English speaking friends:

Oldest sister is often the smartest
The oldest sister in a family is in general a bit smarter that her younger brothers and sisters. A group of Norwegian scientists claimed this last thursday. Their research was published in the American trade magazine Science.

I guess I don't have to emphazise the fact anymore that I'm the oldest of 3... And although very smart, Karen and Rob will just have to live with the fact that they are no competition for me. Ha! ;-)
