In all States

Since a few weeks, the Belgian Newspaper De Standaard has started a new blog: In alle Staten (lit. translation: In all States, but it also means in a dither or in a flutter). The blog is written by Belgians who are living in one of the United States and they comment on their life in the USA and how it is different from Belgium. Of course, a lot of attention is going to the upcoming elections. It looks like it is a good mix of people from all different kinds of walks, professions, ages, sex etc. Mostly democratic although some of them live in very very republican areas.

I will be blogging on there from the state of New York. Well, that is if they can find the bug in Typepad that is blocking me from posting something online. The blogposts will be in Dutch of course and I will try to make it as interesting as possible. As soon as Typepad works, my contribution can be found here. So Maarten! Help! Bug needs fixing!
